very GEMMY and lustrous, deep cherry-red rhodonite crystals to 2.6 cm on massive galena matrix from the famous Broken Hill deposit of Australia. The large rhodonite crystal is especially fine. The bit of contacting on a couple of smaller rhodonite crystals is certainly not detracting from this showy piece. These came out in the 1960s and earlier and are hard to get today. 4.6 x 3.4 x 2.1 cm
