An excellent and showy divergent spray of glassy scolecite needles aesthetically set in matrix covered with epidote from a famous Swiss locality - Arvigo, Grisons. This is a fine, two-sided specimen, which is not diminished by a few broken crystals, as you can see. Obtained by noted Alpine collector, Rolf Wein, in 1967. I have never seen such a nice scolecite spray from here on our market, at least in the US.
