Description
An Arkansas classic. Fine lustrous blades of pink Dolomite coated with beautiful Chalcopyrite, topped by a 2.5 cm Calcite also coated with Chalcopyrite. Very lovely, and a great combination piece for this well-known district. There are a few cleaved blades of Dolomite, and a few bruises on the Calcite, but overall it is in remarkably good shape considering the difficulty of the mining there.
Known provenanceKnowing where your specimen comes from and who owned it adds to its story and value. Good provenance helps prove it's authentic and preserves important details about its discovery.
