A beautiful specimen from the San Carlos Mine of Chihuahua, Mexico. A solid mass of highly lustrous, wet-look, butterscotch-colored to olive-green, hexagonal vanadinite prisms in a multitude of curved clusters comprise this fine piece. Many of the vanadinite prisms are curved themselves. The backside features a rich coating of calcite rhombs on the vanadinite prisms.
