These lustrous, tabular, hexagonal, iridescent tan Mimetite crystals are displayed perfectly on the gossan matrix. The 1.6 cm main crystal is sharp and extremely aesthetic, especially with the unusual, shiny luster that is practically iridescent. This is a showy, quite superb thumbnail from Mt. Bonnie, Northern Territory, Australia. Rare today, from the 1980s finds here.
