Description
Transparent, glassy, color-zoned, honey-brown fluorite cubes to 1.7 cm and a rich sprinkling of colorless calcite rhombs cover the sculptural matrix on this fine upright specimen from a historic English mine and district - St. Peter's Mine, Northumberland. This is a rare locality from which specimens are rarely available. Most are said to be from the 1800s. Superb purple fluorescence on this highly representative combination piece.
