Valentinite, Cervantite, Stibnite - Xikuangshan Sb deposit (Xikuangshan antimony deposit), China
specimen
Valentinite, Cervantite, Stibnite
Description
An imposing, trident-like, large cabinet pseudomorph of ochre valentinite and cervantite after sharply terminated stibnite crystals. This specimen is from recent finds at the Xikuangshan Mine of China, the world's largest antimony mine. This is an extremely large, damage--free specimen. The front side is extremely sharp and the back looks like it is lightly resorbed or very lightly contacted, but no damage, per se.
