This specimen features two huge crystals of equant, gemmy, lustrous, bicolored, royal blue and emerald green lazulite perched atop a contrasting matrix with many, colorless, 1 mm crystals of an unknown phosphate. The larger of the lazulite crystals reaches 1.8 cm across, almost a record for the locality I believe. This is certainly a competition quality miniature and could also be trimmed to a ridiculously killer thumbnail, probably among the best known for species. As is, it is a minature and quite fine this way, too! The crystal on this piece is the fattest, most pyramidal, oddball shaped crystal in the lot.
