This is a very large, 3-dimensional specimen that is considered significant for the size of the cuprite crystals present on the copper (to almost 1 cm). Cuprite on copper from this mine is common enough in historic mining, but crystals of this size are downright exceptional and this is ranked by Arizona collectors I showed it to very highly. In person, it really is not so ugly as it appears here!
