These wonderful triangular, pyramidal calcites from the Daye Mine are very uncommon and highly prized by the Chinese; and they charge quite a premium for them. In fact, the two specimens here are priced barely above cost, truth be told. This crystal measures 2 cm on edge and has rust tones from inclusions of hematite. Note how two of the tips are flat, where the third is pointed; all three natural and undamaged. It is quite unusual to see a variety of calcite that commonly terminates in either form. 8.5 x 6.8 x 4.5 cm
