Numerous gemmy transparent aquamarines to 3 cm grace this delicate matrix of feldspar, and in association with a contrasting schorl tourmaline. Actually, it is likely that the schorl is part schorl and transitioned to the rare tourmaline group species, foitite, at the terminations, judging from the shape (and a number have been analysed that look similar, but not this one). The contrast, the gracile aesthetics, and a complete all-around look make this special. From the Kurt Hefendehl Collection, this is likely from the early 2000s.
