This classic purple-zoned crystal is from a find at the Queen mine in San Diego, and was personally collected by Bill Larson in the 1970s. It remained in his collection until we acquired it recently. Such things are simply not on the modern market and we were lucky to get it and others only by buying a collection assembled over 50 years, by somebody with direct access to the mines there. This is a complete crystal, no repairs or restorations, and is 93 grams, ex William Larson collection. This was, with others, on display for decades as part of the educational/informative local suite in his mineral shop in Fallbrook California.
