Attractive and pleasing to the eye, these dense sprays of glassy, translucent to transparent Scolecite needles are from the famous zeolite area in Iceland. The Scolecite needles reach up to 5.8 cm long, and this small cab can be displayed from either side. This is a fine, uncommon, old-time classic from Berufjord, and specimens of this size and quality are rare from here. Acquired very early from Scott Williams, this is #777 in Kay's collection, before the flood of Indian material started and when zeolites from such places as Iceland and Faeroe were the historic classics.
