This fascinating specimen formed when gemmy calcite crystals grew in the natural pocket formed by a buried fossil clamshell. This specimen has most of the shell intact, as well as somem of the conglomerate matrix in which these shells are found. These are some of the few collector-quality specimens to have ever come out of the state of Florida! 6.4 x 5.5 x 4.5cm
