Cherry-red, lustrous, gem cuprite crystals to 9 mm on massive cuprite matrix from the famous Red Dome Mine of Australia. the luster and gemminess is really unbelieveable. I thought these were something else when first shown to me. This is a highly representative specimen of what many collectors consider to be the finest cuprites in the world. This locality is a gold mine. who knew?! 3.1 x 2.2 x 1.5 cm
