A gemmy and lustrous, complete all-around, green diopside crystal with a sharp, etched pyramidal termination from the 2002 finds at the Kunlun Mountains of China. This fine crystal was illustrated on Page 280, Fig. 15 of Vol. 34, #3, the May-June, 2003 Mineralogical Record issue. 11 grams. A superb example from this one-time, rare find.
