A fine thumbnail cluster of copper crystals from the Ray Mine of Arizona. This piece is dominated by the very sharp, spinel-twinned copper crystal that looks like a sail. The entire specimen has a beautiful, green patina. A micro calcite crystal looks like a diamond embedded in the copper. The piece probably dates to the famous finds of the mid-1970s and is one of the few that were not cleaned to remove the malachite patina. Ex. Irv Brown Collection.
