Gemmy, glassy, deep-red crystals of spessartine to 0.5 cm are isolated on a EUHEDRAL crystal of microcline (which makes the specimen much more attractive than if they were sitting on a clunky, shapeless matrix). There are more than a dozen pretty crystals here.
