A BIG, super-RICH specimen of axinite from Russia! These fanned blades are piled up over an inch-and-a-half thick on the matrix! There is some snow-white accenting calcite in one place. The crystals here are not large relative to other axinite specimens, but the profusion of them more than makes up for it.
