An excellent, gemmy and lustrous cluster of rare magenta, octahedral spinel crystals perched on starkly contrasting gray marble from Mogok, Burma. The cluster has incredibly ornate form and flashing faces all over its surface. This is an exceptionally large and fine spinel cluster from this locale and the purplish-red, gemmy color is remarkable.
