A large, emerald-green burst of Fluorapophyllite fills the display front of this attractive competition-level miniature from India. It's a divergent spray composed of dozens of radiating, tightly clustered, slender prismatic Fluorapophyllite crystals that scintillate and have great luster, not to mention color! All of the crystals are transparent and much of the spray on the backside is exposed and light can transmit through the piece and it just glows a vibrant glass-like green! There are a few small clusters of tiny, pink Heulandite crystals. From a single early 2019 pocket that produced only a handful of specimens, this is a sparkling jewel of a mineral, in person quite different than any others you have seen from these over productive deposits, in my experience.
