Rare, well-formed, carmine red, isometric crystals of villiaumite, to 3mm, dramatically accented with an assemblage of white tuperssuatsiaite and makatite sprays, embellished with white, grading to colorless, transparent, tabular, prismatic microcline crystals on a matrix of colorless, glassy, blocky apophyllite-(KF) crystals. Also present are tan, prismatic crystals (to 4mm) of the rare and complex sodium calcium titanium zirconium manganese silicate, hainite, that locally exhibits linear dissolution features parallel to [001]. Spectacular in hand specimen and under the microscope! Ex. Paulo Matioli collection.
