A classic, old-time hemimorphite specimen from the historic mines of Sardinia. These mines have been around for hundreds of years and have produced some of the Old World's best hemimorphite (often mistaken for smithsonite). The numerous vugs are lined with banded hemimorphite and filled with really pretty, lustrous and translucent, sky-blue botryoids. Ex. Robert Whitmore Collection.
