This unusually display-worthy Tennantite specimen is really sculptural and three dimensional. The tetrahedrons of metallic, gun-metal, silver-gray Tennantite are perched wonderfully on a matrix of gray Dolomite rhombs, with Copper under the Dolomite. The largest Tennantite crystal is an impressive 3.1 cm base to tip on its major face. This is an excellent example of a fairly rare ore mineral at Tsumeb. Older material from this renowned locale.
