This is a big (127-gram) gem topaz crystal that is actually a complete floater crystal, terminated all around. It got this way by breaking off naturally inside the pocket, then healing on the bottom to form a natural face (there are just a couple of spots of contact there - almost the whole termination is complete). The top termination appears at first glance to have some wear on it, but on close inspection, it is either naturally-etched or healed as well - not damaged. The interior of the crystal is super-transparent and gemmy. The outside faces have natural etch striations that give it a silky look. In one area there is a flat, glassy face that gives you a clear window to the water-clear interior.
