A remarkably sharp and lustrous cluster of siegenite crystals is perched atop of an elongated, highly lustrous, silvery-gray crystal of galena measuring 3 cm in length. This specimen was a real surprise when I saw it in a competitive miniatures suite! It is shocking to see such a freestanding cluster of this very rare cobalt nickel sulfide, and the crystals near 1 cm (large for species). It is an elegant, and surprising, competitive miniature, ex. Irv Brown miniatures collection.
