Gemmy and lustrous, lavender creedite crystals richly and aesthetically cover the matrix on this fine specimen from the famous mid-1980s finds at the Santo Domingo Mine at Santa Eulalia. Many of the creedites are preferentially included with or coated by hematite, which adds character to the piece. The striking, large crystal at the peak is 1.2 cm. All of the major crystals are pristine. Purple Santa Eulalia creedites are considered amongst the finest creedites in the world and this is a highly representative example. Ex. Consie Prince Collection.
