Splendent, sharp, discrete, metallic-gray galena octahedrons to 3.6 cm are aesthetically perched on the mounded cabinet limestone matrix covered with lustrous gray calcite rhombs and very sparkly, brassy chalcopyrite crystals on this outstanding specimen from the Sweetwater Mine of Missouri. These are really superb, pristine galena octahedrons and can be viewed from many different angles. For larger, isolated galena octahedrons, this is one of the finest Viburnum Trend specimens that I have seen. Ex. George Feist Collection #2844.
