A rare and excellent pseudomorph from Germany. A 2.0 cm, sharp, lustrous, brick-red hematite after calcite scalenohedron is nicely set in matrix. This is classic, old-time material from the iron mines at Iserlohn, Sauerland. Rare, today, to see on the market. From the collection of the world-famous Bergakademie Freiberg.
