MUCH MUCH BETTER In PERSON! This is a sceptered elbaite crystal displaying an etched pink base and a rich green, gemmy center and termination. I really like the exaggerated steep pyramids that finish off the specimen. These crystals came out briefly for a time, 20 years ago, were phenomenally expensive when they did, and then were never seen again in quantity. This is from Steve's hoard, of cherry-picked, pristine, superb crystals from this famous pocket! It is among the best for the size I have seen, as you'd expect from it being in his hoard for so long. Note the size...it is the largest of the group shown here, by far, and has substantially more mass than the other specimens below. Also, it has a very unique, for the locality, BLUE zone above the green, right at the termination! The termination is extremely sharp and well-formed, although it was hard to convey in the photos
