A classic, old-time, two-sided combination specimen from the famous Tri-State District. Iridescent, brass-yellow, triangular chalcopyrite crystals are richly sprinkled on the 3-dimensional carpet of elongated, moderate-luster, pastel-pink dolomite blades on the matrix of gray chert. The chert on the backside of this excellent cabinet specimen is blanketed with tiny, pastel-yellow, complex, calcite rhombs. Ex. Mullane Collection. The front is in nearly pristine condition and the chalcopyrites reach 7 mm.
