This is a superb specimen of a very rare phosphate from a world-famous locality. Zanazziite is a hydrated calcium magnesium iron aluminum beryllium phosphate and some of the crystals of this species are found at this locality. This piece has a scattering of large, semi lustrous, well-formed, translucent, green spheroids of the rare phosphate Zanazziite associated which are sitting on translucent crystallized Rose Quartz and white Quartz matrix. The aesthetics and superb quality of the Zanazziite spheres on this specimen make it a great treasure. This specimen is over 25 years old and is from the ORIGINAL find from the 1970's that was brought to the United States by Richard Kosnar. Ex. Richard Kosnar Collection.
