It is rare that Ed was interested in small gem crystals. However, THIS is a piece unique and beautiful enough to pique his attention! Herderite is rare enough, green herderite rarer still, and herderite actually growing on topaz almost unheard of! This remarkable example of paragenesis is aesthetic and beautiful, as well. Ed bought this from Herb Obodda when Herb returned with it from a trip to Pakistan in the summer of 2003. It is one of the finest examples of the green herderites that briefly trickled out of Pakistan for a few years
