An extremely colorful, fine miniature from old workings at this famous locality with the most intense yellow color of any I have seen. The original saddle-shaped and curvaceous Dolomite crystals, clearly preserved in form by the pseudomorphing Smithsonite, show elegant curvature and are up to 8 mm in size. This piece stands out because they are nicely isolated on matrix instead of forming a solid coating, as is more common. An aesthetic and classic pseudomorph, this is a pristine, exquisite, old-time specimen. Such pieces are simply not available on the market.
