Perhaps my favorite piece in this update for sheer style. Outstanding combination piece from the famous Yaogangxian Mine in China. This stunner has a beautiful, gemmy, 1.3 cm Fluorite resting on top of terminated, partly gemmy Quartz crystals. In addition, the Fluorite, instead of having the classic internal phantoms we are used to from this mine, has its edges colored purple instead. The effect is amazing. Great aesthetics, and frankly just an amazing specimen. This is not a "small rock," but rather It is a superb specimen that happens to be a perfect size for its own balance. And so few "small " fluorites really pack this much punch. Most small fluorites, you glance over. This one, though, is mesmerizing.
