A highly lustrous, very sharp, partially gemmy, chocolate-brown cassiterite crystal from Schlaggenwald, Bohemia, Czech Republic. This is CLASSIC, OLD-TIME and textbook material from this historic locality, which is not diminished by the contacting on the back. This fine piece bears a strong resemblance to Bolivian and Chinese cassiterites but nevertheless is unique and more historic. Ex. Charles Hansen Collection.
