A striking and most unusual looking cabinet specimen from the Geevor Mine of Cornwall. Sharp copper microcrystals fully surround large brecciated quartz fragments on both sides of the scuptural specimen. Cuprite richly coats much of the copper and adds a very nice patina. The large breccia fragment is 5.3 cm across. The area around this historic mine was intermittently active from the late 1700s until 1990. Ex. Wes Parker Collection.
