An attractive plate of beautiful Cavansite crystals with Stilbite. The Cavansites are in flat radial growths that look like morning glories. Really, these small mineral "flowers" (from 1-2 mm) are quite spectacular aesthetically. First described in 1973, the Owyhee Dam Cavansites were the be-all and end-all until the great Indian discoveries of the late 1980's. Therefore, in addition to nice aesthetics, this piece has great historical and scientific importance. None have been collected in many years, to my knowledge. Ex. Charlie Key.
