Scintillating, gemmy and lustrous, vivid lavender and light brown vesuvianite crystals comprise this beautiful and rich specimen from the Jeffrey Mine of Quebec. The crystals reach 8 mm and many crystals are bi-colored. The matrix is massive vesuvianite and some of it is the chrome-green varietal, some the purple manganoan version. Excellent material with gorgeous color from this renowned locale. Ex. Wes Parker Collection.
