Vivanite from Huanuni has become increasingly difficult to obtain these days, since the miners have little opportunity to "liberate" specimens for collectors. The phosphate zone at Huanuni hasn't produced much for about 10 years. This particular specimen came out of Haununi in the early 1980's. The specimen comprises fine, sharp, lustrous, deep green color, prismatic crystals in a "fan"-shape. Ex. Brian Kosnar Collection.
