This matrix specimen, one of the best from Morocco that I have yet seen for sale, is covered with rose-pink, sparkling, translucent crystals of cobaltoan calcite to almost 1.0 cm in length. The color is so vibrant that it almost has a neon effect. The pink is the hue of the best rose quartz, better than almost any other specimen of this style I have seen. The luster is like glass, sparkling! The piece is NEARLY pristine, with just a small bit of the periphery contacted, and a few very minute dings; but as you can see the display face is awsesome. In person, this is a very 3-dimensional specimen as well, with great visual impact - it is hard to convey in the photos the depth, because the crystals stick out every which way.
