A very aesthetic and rich specimen from recent finds at the Daoping Mine of China. Two separate mounds of lustrous, hoppered, apple-green pyromorphite prisms rest on a thin crust of tiny pyromorphite crystals. The crystals reach 7-8 mm. This excellent piece is solid pyromorphite, as the back of the specimen consists of two, separate, hollow crusts. Very nearly pristine. This is a fine example from this locale, where these pyromorphites have become contemporary classics. They compare very favorably with Bunker Hill and Les Farges specimens.
