Gemmy and lustrous, interpenetrant, golden-amber calcite crystals set on a bit of matrix. This beautiful piece is complete-all-around and has excellent amber color. A couple of the faces are preferentially frosted. These calcites from the Sokolovskiy Mine of Kazakhstan came out in the early 1990s. Highly representative of the species and famous find.
