This is a remarkable HUGE crystal from the 1940s, and the first finds of this gem species. Such crystals, for size and color, have never been found since. Few of this size were found at the time. This is a beautiful, impressive piece of extremely large size. It is unrepaired, remarkably. It is complete on the front display face, although contacted on the backside, and the rear of the termination. It has some very slight edge wear at the termination, as well (only visible close up, because it is shallow). The left side is either cleaved or contacted, cannot tell which, but you just display it as shown and no problems visually with looking head-on at this monster... 10.5 x 6.3 x 3 cm
