A classic and fine cluster of silvery iridescent, brassy marcasite crystal plates Vintirov, Bohemia, Czech Republic. This is really an excellent marcasite specimen from this famous locale that is essentially pristine. Marcasite crystals from here are among the world's most stable, with many (not all) specimens quite resistant to "marcasite disease." Ex. George Feist Collection.
