Vibrant, glassy, powder-blue aurichalcite richly and beautifully covers one side of the banded gossan matrix on this beautiful, older, cabinet combination specimen from the historic Mina Ojuela. The aurichalcite on the front is nicely accented with sparkling, glassy, disc-like calcite crystals. The old label accompanying the piece identified these as gypsum and hemimorphite crystals, they are so bright. Ex. Consie Prince Collection.
