Scintillating, emerald-green to forest-green brochantite covers the sculptural sandstone matrix on this fine specimen from the less well-known Douglas Hill Mine of Nevada. Some of the brochantite is gemmy. The mine produces copper. Highly representative of the species and locale and seldom available. Ex. Wes Parker Collection, I am told from an early 1990s find here.
