A light blue, face centered topaz crystal with a chiseled termination, is both glassy and gemmy. Minor bruising occurs at the left center portion of the crystal but it is almost perfect otherwise. The old label notes this was collected or acquired Nov 9-10, 1948, by or from Hugh Ford and that it is a "superb crystal." Which it is! Ex. Carnegie Museum Collection.
