No, this is not a spodumene, but a huge TOPAZ crystal (327 grams); doubly terminated, gemmy inside, with jagged, spodumene-like terminations and recesses on its faces! It has a light sherry color and plenty of gem material inside, and appears to be a floater of spodumene because of the un-topazlike form - but it IS a topaz. A really fascinating gem crystal! 8 x 4.8 x 4.3 cm
