Here is something you just do not see around on the market - an Italian smithsonite! It is polished on the display face to bring out the pretty color and rounded forms. Another very unusual specimen out of the Hauck Collection. THE COLOR In REAL LIFE IS A RICHER, APPLE-GREEN, ABOUT 20% DEEPER THAN THE COLOR WE GOT HERE. The white glare in the middle is intentional, to show you how lustrous and reflective the surface is, both because of the quality of the material as lapidary rough and because of the quality of the polishing job. Very old material, too - you cannot obtain it on the market today! 7.0 x 5.2 x 3.8cm
